PedalaMi is a project based on the concept of piezoelectric energy.

The idea is conceived by the movement of a cyclist that generates energy and feeds the entire micro-system. This distributes electricity and sufficient light inside the tunnel during the night while turning all electric services on.

The main idea of this concept is to encourage people to contribute to the care of the environment and their well-being. This system allows people to choose and combine between different transportation networks. Depending on user’s time, they will be able to optimize their route by cycling short sections and getting into the underground whenever needed. The concept is imagined to work on a points accumulation program basis which is linked to the cycling distance.

 

The purpose is to reward people by encouraging them to be active. The earned points on the energy card are the points that users accumulate. These points can be used for purchases at the coffebike or for renting cycling products.
